FxPro and cTrader Copy

The account this site links to is with FxPro, a broker that offers CFDs. This page says what a position on such an account is, what cTrader’s broker list printed for FxPro on 6 November 2026, and what to ask before sending money.

What a copied position is

FxPro offers contracts for difference. A position on such an account is a contract on a price: its value moves with the price, and the holder gains or loses the difference without owning the thing priced. FxPro does not offer shares on South African exchanges, and nothing on this site implies it does.

A copied trade on that account is leveraged, which means the position is larger than the money set against it. The same move in the price changes the account by more as the position grows, in either direction. A record that shows how far a provider’s account moved does not show how large the positions were.

What cTrader’s list printed for FxPro

The broker list at ctrader.com/copy/brokers carries a copy flag for FxPro, a maximum leverage, a minimum deposit and a short text of regulators. On 6 November 2026 the regulators text for FxPro read: FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas. That is the list’s wording, not a finding of this site, and it was not checked against any register.

The list is cTrader’s page and not FxPro’s statement of whom it serves. The paragraph above says what to look up and where: the exact legal name of the company named in the client agreement, on the register of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority.

What to ask before sending money

Is the copy service open to a resident of South Africa, and under which company? Is the account a hedging account, which the cTrader Copy help page says copying requires? Can a demo account follow a strategy, and on what terms? What leverage does the account carry compared with the provider’s, given the help page’s statement that a lower leverage can leave too little margin to copy all trades?

The help page also says the fee information for a strategy is shown on the button that starts copying, inside the application. This site has not seen it for any strategy, and it takes no money from you.

According to FxPro's own site, it serves South African clients under an authorisation from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority. That claim is worth checking: search the FSCA register for the legal name and FSP number printed in FxPro's client agreement. Outside South Africa the group is authorised by the FCA in the United Kingdom and CySEC in Cyprus. Exchange control and tax-compliance rules apply to any money sent abroad. This site gives no investment advice. On 6 November 2026 cTrader’s own broker list printed these regulators for FxPro: FCA UK; SCB - SIA Bahamas. Whether FxPro’s copy service is open to a resident of South Africa is something to ask FxPro.

The broker this site links to

This site links to FxPro, which cTrader’s list marks as a copy-enabled broker. A copied trade is a leveraged contract on a price, not ownership of anything. Read the terms before you decide anything.
